EU Right of Withdrawal Policy

This policy applies to customers residing in EU member states.

What is the Right of Withdrawal?

Customers residing in EU member states have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract and request a return within 14 days from the date the item is delivered, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us within 14 days from the date of delivery and return the item in accordance with our instructions.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of items sent back after the withdrawal period has expired. If the item has already been delivered to you, your right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the date of delivery.

If your country or region is not listed above, this policy does not apply. Returns and exchanges will be handled in accordance with Japan Select’s standard Return and Refund Policy.

Customer-Initiated Returns and Cancellations

For customer-initiated returns, the return shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility.

If you request a cancellation after the item has already been shipped, or if you request a return for personal reasons, the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, and any other costs related to the return will not be refunded and will be the customer’s responsibility.

Diminished Value of Returned Items

Under EU law, customers may handle the item only to the extent necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics, and functionality.

However, if the item has been used beyond what is necessary for such inspection, the customer may be responsible for any diminished value of the item.

Examples of use beyond necessary inspection include, but are not limited to:

  • Wearing the item outside
  • Wearing the item at an event, party, or special occasion
  • Using the item for several days
  • Resizing or adjusting the bracelet or band, including removing or adding links
  • Removing protective films or stickers
  • Scratches, dents, stains, or signs of wear
  • Sweat, skin oil, odor, or other residue on the item
  • Deformation or damage to the strap, band, bracelet, or buckle
  • Missing accessories, warranty card, tags, manuals, box, spare links, or other included items
  • Any other condition that prevents the item from being resold as new

After inspecting the returned item, if we determine that any of the above applies, we may deduct the diminished value from the refund.
